I am an artist and art psychotherapist from China who relocated to London 5 years ago. I was influenced by the Chinese contemporary art market which peaked in the early 21st century and experienced a boom in demand, to the extent that artistic output became repetitive. I became fed up with this repetitiveness and chose to enter the world of art psychotherapy, curious about human nature and its relationship with art. My most recent work is influenced by the major cultural transition my children and I made when we moved to London, our experiences here (good and bad) and the range of cultures and people we encountered along the way.
