I have qualifications in education, mathematics, and fine art, and was head of textiles at Morley College until my retirement. Much of my work is geometric, and I have always been interested in the way a single unit changes when repeated over a larger area. Recently I have been using a combination of paper, found objects and screen printing . My quilts are designed to hang rather than be used as bed covers, and have been widely exhibited in the Uk and abroad.
