Tove of Sweden’s ceramics are deeply inspired by nature and steeped in the heritage of her native Sweden. Tove’s work celebrates the lasting qualities of clay and her fascination with forms found in nature - seeds, pods, sea urchins, buds, shells, bark - resulting in an organic aesthetic, sometimes accentuated by deep colours and carved surfaces. Tove works in stoneware thrown on the wheel, often altering the shape. She makes vases, trinket boxes, bowls, utility ware and more, along with commissions.
