Roopa Basu is a London-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, mixed media, and design. Raised across three continents, her fine art explores themes of light, memory, and belonging. She often uses layered materials to capture fleeting moments that invite reflection on the beauty of transience. With a background in print design and as founder of her design studio Roopadesigns, she brings a strong sense of visual storytelling to her work. Alongside her studio practice, Roopa leads community art projects, producing large-scale murals and installations rooted in her ethos to “think globally, act locally.”
