Paulene uses constructed and recycled textiles, found objects and print to portray aspects of the urban built environment, highlighting the overlooked minutiae of city streets. In addition, she abstracts the wild landscape of the far west of Cornwall and aspects of the Scottish coastline.
For some years she has exclusively used existing materials, recycled artworks/clothing and found objects.
