Marcy Richardson

Marcy's work explores the fear of the unknown, and the perceived differences we have in each other. Her recent work has been influenced by the current war in Ukraine, and the people who have been displaced. She was raised by her grandparents who were Ukrainian refugees following WW2, and as a result the war has deeply affected her, particularly with family members still living in the country. Recent exhibitions include The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2021, Hastings Contemporary, The Pump House Gallery, The Lido Stores Gallery in Margate, Turps Banana Off-site Painters 2023 at Thames-side Gallery and the Southbank Printmakers Gallery.
